Bart Muller ontvangt Rotary International Avenues of Service Award

Vanwege zijn enorme inzet voor Rotary in de afgelopen jaren heeft Bart Muller (RC Dordrecht) op zaterdag 1 juni 2024 de Rotary International Avenues of Service Award ontvangen.

Bart kreeg deze bijzondere Award uitgereikt tijdens de jaarlijkse D1610 DISCON 2024 omdat hij per 1 juli a.s. na 10 jaar afscheid neemt als webmaster van ons district. Men ontvangt echter deze Award niet na 10 jaar webmasterschap alleen. De Avenues of Service Award erkent individuele Rotarians en Rotaractors die erkenning hebben gekregen in alle vijf Avenues of Service: Club Service, Vocational Service, Community Service, International Service en Youth Service. Voor Bart geldt dat hij de afgelopen jaren niet alleen webmaster is geweest, maar daarnaast ook Clubcoordinator, Jeugdcommissaris, Rotaractcommissaris, Afgevaardigde bij de Council of Legislation (CoL), Commissaris The Rotary Foundation (zowel in zijn club als voor ons District) en Gouverneur D1610 in het jaar 2014-2015.

Redenen genoeg om hem het gegraveerde kristal te overhandigen en de speld van Rotary International Avenues of Service op te laten spelden door de huidige Gouverneur Anja Rijlaarsdam.

AVENUES OF SERVICE AWARD (RI-LEVEL)

The Avenues of Service Award recognizes individual Rotarians and Rotaractors who have received recognition in all five Avenues of Service: Club Service, Vocational Service, Community Service, International Service, and Youth Service. Nomination process: A governor can nominate a Rotarian or Rotaractor who has achieved recognition in all five Avenues of Service for recognition by RI by submitting this online nomination form. When the nomination is received, RI will review candidates for eligibility, and send the Avenues of Service engraved crystal and pin for presentation to the Rotarian.
