Rotary Club of Istinye

Participants:

12 campers. One boy or one girl from each country (non-smokers).

Age:

15-16 (No exceptions to the upper limit of 16)

Location:

Bursa/Turkey

Accomodation:

The first and the last days in Rotarian homes in Istanbul. Then 14 days in a resort hotel in Mt. Uludag (4 hours drive from Istanbul)

Programme:

This camp is for young people who enjoy sports, nature and being with friends from all over Turkey and the world. Almost 140 teenagers, from all over Turkey and the world, will enjoy being in a wonderful nature, dealing with all kinds of sports (basketball, soccer, hockey, archery, baseball, roller-blading, table tennis etc.), outdoor activities (hiking, climbing, rope courses, first-aid training, fishing etc.) arts & crafts, camp clubs like internet club, photography club, biology club, dance & drama clubs, International Camp Day and sightseeing trips.

Clothing:

A simple check-list will be sent to participants in June.

Arrival:

Campers will be met at the Istanbul Atatürk International Airport on 16^th July according to their flight arrangements.

Costs:

Return ticket to Istanbul plus additional pocket money

Departure:

From Istanbul Atatürk International Airport daytime 1th or 2ndAugust.

Official Papers:

Tourist visa to Turkey (where necessary)

Insurance:

Participants should be insured against illness, accident and third party liability.

Information:

A detailed program will be sent to the participants in May.
